I always like seeing 6×6s. It means our deer genetics are in good shape and our deer population to carrying capacity is not to high. Found this shed April 2nd.

Sunday, December 13th, 2009I was crying for colder weather all hunting season, now it came with vengeance. It was -38 yesterday but warmed up to -36 this am. I’m sure glad I got my steers off to market when I did. Couple more pics from the season.

Sunday, December 6th, 2009Whitetail deer, cows, what the heck. Most of you that hunted with me heard me talk of my cows. I have 2, 1 1/2 year old steers in a 160 acre pasture that is 100% bush. It’s winter and I have to get them out of there, anyone want to go hunting???????

Saturday, December 5th, 2009This is a good way to end the season, Rick got himself a nice heavey antlered 5×5 buck. It’s been snowing all morning, now we have 6″ of snow. Where was it 5 weeks ago??

Wednesday, December 2nd, 2009Deer hunting season is just about over and we finally got some snow. About 2″ of the stuff. The deer are already moving better. Busy shutting stands down.
